Unit dialysis culture was used for the growth of syntrophic fatty acid oxidation and oxidative ethanol, anaerobic bacteria. Pure cultures of fatty acid oxidizer Clostridium bryantii was grown in strattera dialysis tubing, which was surrounded by a pure culture of vulgar Desulfovibrio. The same apparatus was used for growing syntrophic Pelobacter acetylenicus and Acetobacterium woodii with ethanol as substrate. In both cases, degradation of substrate and product education are about two times faster than homogeneously mixed culture management. The department of hydrogen producer, the concentration of free hydrogen in the syntrophic degradation of ethanol was about 10 times higher than that of the hydrogen utilizer and homogeneously mixed culture exhibited intermediate partial pressure of hydrogen. .
